This group was formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990’s. When they first started out they had some trouble being recognized and they were actually shelved as their record deal was not going very well. However, they eventually got a break when they brought Taboo onto the scene and they started playing their music around LA.
Many of the people that listened to their music were very impressed with their ability to remain nonviolent and yet continue to put on a good show with very positive lyrics. They even had dancers that would put on a show while they were performing their music and this helped their popularity grow.
